Covers Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, NYT, Paramount+, Peacock, WSJ, or YouTube subscriptions. Requires enrollment. Purchase must be made directly with the partner, not through a bundle or third party.

Auto-loads to your Uber Cash balance once your Platinum Card is added as a payment method. Expires at the end of each month if unused. December gets an extra $20.

Airline Fee Credit$200/yr
Pick one qualifying airline (Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, or United) and get credits on incidental fees like bags and seat selection — not on tickets themselves. Enrollment required; you can change your airline once each January.
Uber One Credit$120/yr
Statement credit toward Uber One membership fees when charged directly to your card. Turn Uber Cash off for this charge so it hits the card directly.
Oura Ring Credit$200/yr
Ouraring.com purchases only — excludes membership fees, accessories, and third-party retailers. Requires enrollment.
CLEAR+ Credit$219/yr
Covers an annual CLEAR+ membership charged to the card. No separate Amex enrollment — just pay with the Platinum Card.
Equinox Credit$300/yr
Equinox club membership or standalone Equinox+ subscription. Must validate eligibility at platinum.equinox.com first, and not purchase through the Equinox+ app or a third party.
Global Entry / TSA PreCheck$120 or $85

Uber Cash vs. Uber One

Two separate benefits that both live inside the Uber app — easy to mix up.

Monthly

Uber Cash

  • $15 loaded automatically each month, plus $20 extra in December
  • Appears as a balance inside the Uber app, no enrollment step
  • Expires at the end of each calendar month if unused — doesn't roll over
  • Applies automatically to any eligible Uber or Uber Eats charge once toggled on
  • Just requires your Platinum Card saved as a payment method in Uber, Uber Eats, or Postmates
Annual

Uber One Credit

  • Reimburses the Uber One subscription fee itself, up to $120 across the year
  • Uber One is the membership that waives delivery fees and adds ride discounts
  • Turn Uber Cash off for the membership charge so your card is billed directly
  • Doesn't cover free trials or portions already discounted by Uber One credits
  • Membership itself auto-renews under Uber's own terms, separate from Amex
The easy mix-up: Uber Cash pays for rides and orders. The Uber One credit pays for the subscription that reduces delivery fees. You can hold both at once, but if Uber Cash is toggled on when your Uber One renewal hits, it may eat into your Uber Cash balance instead of hitting your card — which means it won't count toward the $120 statement credit.

Lounge access

Coverage varies a lot by lounge network. Companion Cards and Business Employee cards are excluded from all of these unless noted.

The Centurion Lounge
Unlimited access. Arrive within 3 hrs of departure (5 hrs during a layover, effective July 8, 2026). $50/guest fee unless you've spent $75k+ on the card this year, which unlocks 2 free guests.
Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge
Same guest-fee structure as Centurion Lounge. Arrive within 90 minutes of departure, including layovers.
Delta Sky Club
10 visits per year (issued Feb 1), unlimited if you spend $75k+/yr. Only valid on same-day Delta or Delta-marketed WestJet flights — not just any flight.
Priority Pass
Requires separate enrollment. Up to 2 free guests per visit; extra guests billed automatically.
Escape Lounges
Complimentary, up to 2 guests. Flight must be booked on a U.S.-issued Amex Card.
Plaza Premium Lounges
Complimentary global access, up to 2 guests.
Lufthansa Lounges
Access ends September 30, 2026 — no longer included starting October 1, 2026.Ending soon
